Lenovo Tab P12 Price In India: Tablet With 3K Display, Dimensity 7050 Launched; To Take On OnePlus Pad

Lenovo, a Chinese laptop maker, has launched its latest Tab P12 tablet in India. While the device was listed on Flipkart a while ago, the price was not revealed by the tech maker. With the launch, we have all the details about the device now. The Tab P12 has a 12.7-inch 3K LTPS LCD panel with a screen resolution of 2944 x 1840 pixels and up to one billion colour production capacity. It has a touch sampling rate (TSR) of 240Hz and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The device has a thickness of 6.9mm and weighs 630g.

The tablet ships with quad Dolby Atmos JBL speakers and a two-mic setup. For performance, the tablet has a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7050 CPU with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. A buyer can expand the storage up to 1TB with a microSD card. It runs on Android 13. According to reports, the company is promising two OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Moving to the battery, the Tab P12 sports a 10,200mAh battery, which supports 20W charging and can offer a backup of up to 10 hours with video playback. As for the optics, the phone has a 13MP selfie lens and an 8MP rear camera.

Speaking of connectivity, the device boasts Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. As for the sensors, the P12 has ambient light, an accelerometer (G), a gyroscope, RGB, and a hall sensor beside the e-compass. For security, it has a fingerprint reader integrated inside the power button.

The tablet starts from Rs 34,999 and will be available for purchase from Flipkart and Lenovo's official channels from September with special offers. Speaking of the competition, the tablet competes with the OnePlus Pad and Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet.
