Jun 07, 2023

TULSA, Okla. — Bishop Kelley (BK) High School Campus opened its new Dinning Hall with a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 10.

Mayor GT Bynum was in attendance, along with Bishop Konderla, to speak with students, teachers, and staff and help cut the ribbon to open the dining hall officially.

The Dining Hall will be ready to serve students once Spring Break is over on March 20. In honor of the grand opening, the first lunch the students will have will be free.

The newest features include a wood-fired pizza oven, salad bar, deli, grill, food bowls, snacks, and ice cream.

"There will be a daily special from the Chef that changes every day," said Core Committee co-chair Beth Snapp "the children will have so many options, and it is nutritious," said Beth Snapp.

Randall and Beth Snapp are on the committee and had children who attended Bishop Kelley.

"We had 4 children that went through BK and had a wonderful experience here. It has prepared them well for life, and we felt like it was something people had done before we got here, and we wanted to do it for everybody else," said Randall Snapp.

In addition to the Dining Hall, 8 state-of-the-art classrooms will come to Bishop Kelley soon.

"This is just the start and there is more to be done." Said Randall Snapp.
